The Oak Maple Team

The Advocate
Nurturing, Serving, Looking out for others’ best interests

Krista Greenstein

Krista Greenstein, wearing a gray sweater.
  • A former nurse, Krista’s empathy and listening skills are among her greatest strengths. A born communicator, Krista is able to listen, learn and reflect, summarizing what she hears to get to the heart of the matter. She has learned to see and appreciate gray areas, keeping an open mind and approaching everyone she meets with humility and compassion. Taking care of others is a driving force in Krista’s life. This trait shows up in her work in financial planning as well, where she is known for making authentic and lasting connections with clients.

Like her childhood hero Helen Keller, Krista is a natural advocate for those who might struggle in a society that is not built for them. She admires her daughter, who has autism, for her “radical honesty” and bravery in pushing for greater accessibility and disability rights.

A self-identified introvert who presents as an extrovert, Krista is most at home in the kitchen, where she might be found making chicken Marbella, her signature dish, or even making Thanksgiving dinner on an August afternoon, just to capture that sense of gratitude for all life has to offer. Krista loves feeding others, in the past cooking for Spectrum, a group that supports hungry children.

  • University of Vermont, BSN

“I don’t find value in material things. They don’t bring me joy. Feeling peace of mind about the needs of people that you love being met is more important to me. Having a comfortable chair or a nice bed to sleep in. There is beauty in utility.”

The Listener
Being present, Holding space, Striving to understand and seek solutions.

Corrie Parker

  • Corrie brings her values of grace and love to others in her work at Oak Maple. By listening to clients with an ear for their potential, she is able to hear and understand their needs and offer custom-tailored support from a place of genuine understanding and kindness.

An intuitive introvert, Corrie is nevertheless very active in the community. You might find her hiking with her dogs or snowboarding . Like her other colleagues at Oak Maple, Corrie believes we are here for a purpose and that giving back is essential. She has been involved in many local charities including the ALS Association, where a deeply personal connection led her to many years of service.

“It’s important that clients feel heard and listened to when doing financial planning. My aim is to hear what’s between the lines and get that done for them.”

The Creative
Seeking authenticity, Celebrating diversity, Making the world more playful.

Emily Greenstein

  • A proud neurodivergent, Emily notices interesting patterns that might escape most people. Asked to name someone she admires, she mentions Pokemon creator Satoshi Tajiri, appreciating the way that his game is autism-friendly as a scripted journey with a specific focus, that involves memorization and collecting. A collector herself, Emily values the beauty of a cherished artifact, such as a special edition comic, or a vinyl record. Through the tangible experience of holding the artistic creation, Emily says she feels more connected to the work itself.

Detail oriented, Emily excels at planning. As Oak Maple’s Client Services Coordinator, she provides a level of dependability and clarity that clients and colleagues notice and rely on. Her past marketing experience also shows up in her work at Oak Maple, making her a multi-faceted asset to the team.

“I really like when people are authentically themselves. I tend to get along best with people who know who they are and know what they contribute, just like I do. When people with diverse interests come together it creates value."

The Organizer Streamlining, Simplifying, Developing systems that save time and offer peace
of mind

Amber Drohan

Amber Drohan, wearing a white sweater.
  • She loves gathering information, making sense of it, and putting it in a clear order that anyone can follow. She’s not a robot though. Amber has a huge heart, especially when it comes to animals. She has worked at the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and facilitated many adoptions, uniting animals in need with their furever families. When asked what she would save in a fire, she says “Nothing. Other than people and pets, everything is replaceable.” Her own pets—dogs Cannoli (a French Bulldog), Fenya (a German Shepherd), and cats Riley and Penelope, feel the love.

Amber is genuinely curious about others, and loves finding out what makes them tick—their core values and traits they find important. She enjoys taking that information and using it to serve others with systems that save them valuable time and improve their quality of life.

“Organization is key both personally and in a work space. It makes my life easier at home and helps people that I work with get more done.”
